Beverly Jean Graham, 80, Altoona, passed away Sunday evening January 22, 2017 after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family.

She was born April 30, 1936 in Houtzdale, daughter of the late Edith Walstrom. She was previously married to Ralph Woomer of Tyrone. She then married John W. “Bill” Graham, who was the love of her life, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 1997.

Surviving are her six children: Melodie Auker (Mike) in Florida, Jeff Woomer (Diane) of Altoona, Lori Woomer-Gehret of Virginia Beach, Va., David Graham of Philipsburg, Brian Graham (Brenda) of Altoona and Ellen Graham, with whom she resided; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, David A. Keith of Altoona; and many friends and family.

Beverly retired as a foster grandparent for Blair Senior Services after 18 years of service. She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Duncanville, where she taught Sunday school, and she was a member of the Lady’s Circle.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1309 Frankstown Road, Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., the Rev. Roy Steward officiating. Arrangements are by Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona.
