Carol LaRue Dollar, 84 of Altoona died Sunday January 14, 2018 at home.

               She was born July 28, 1933 in Altoona a daughter of the late Elwood and Dorothy (Miller) Shubert.

               Surviving are her daughter, Becky L. Snyder; nieces and nephews, Shelia (Richard) Winstead, Jeff (Terri) Knepp, Pam Bitzel, Steve Knepp, Wayne Ellis, Peggy (Terry) Barley, and several other nieces and nephews.

               She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Shubert Wray.

               Carol was a graduate of Altoona High School.

               She attended Christ Community United Methodist Church.

               She retired from SKF in 1995 after 40 years of service.

               She was a member of the Cesare Battisti Club and the Catholic War Vets.

               Carol enjoyed pottery and had a pottery shop, she loved camping and fishing at Glendale and just enjoyed life to the fullest.

               Friends will be received Thursday January 25, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 5715 Roselawn Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602, where a memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m.
