Charles Edward “Cha” Spicer, 61 of Altoona died Tuesday April 5, 2016 at UPMC Altoona.
He was born June 9, 1954 in Levittown, PA a son of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Lancaster) Spicer. He married Sharon “Sheri” L. Burns on August 25, 2001 in Levittown, PA.
Surviving are his wife Sheri; three step-children, Jennifer L. Peznola and husband George of Altoona, Robert M. Becher and fiancée Tiffany of Gallitzin, and Bradley M. Becher and wife Candace of Gallitzin; three grandchildren, Miranda Peznola, Jacob Becher, and Emma Becher; five siblings, Mary Jane Rivera and husband Benny, David Spicer and wife Linda, James Spicer and wife Brenda, Dorothy Lawson husband Samuel, and Sarah Phipps and husband Pete; a sister in law Kimberly Spicer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by two brothers Arthur Spicer and Thomas Spicer; and a sister Nancy Chambers.
Mr. Spicer was a forklift operator.
He enjoyed fishing listening to music and spending time with family.
Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday April 9, 2016 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday with Reverend Denise M. Arpino officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the family in care of the Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc.
