Donald Paul Lingenfelter, 75 of Altoona died Friday March 31, 2017 at home.

               He was born March 15, 1942 in Freedom township, a son of the late Sheridan M. and Mary M. (Hainsey) Lingenfelter.  He married Sandra S. Hufford on July 25, 1986 in Winchester, Va.

               Surviving are his wife, Sandra; four children, Mary Flick, Sherri Mountain, Timothy Hufford and Harry Hufford; nine grandchildren, Michael Hufford, Heather Sodi, Ericka Hufford, Ryan Hufford, Amanda Hufford, Noah Hufford, Selena Hufford, Lanessa Hufford and Jonathan Mountain; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Jane McCullough and Kay Conway.

               He was preceded in death by a grandson David Hufford and a brother Harvey Lingenfelter.

               He graduated from Hollidaysburg High School.

               Paul retired in 1995 from Small Tube Products as a saw operator after 32 years of service.

               He enjoyed fishing, hunting, lottery tickets, crafts and loved picking on his grandchildren. 

                A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday April 5, 2017 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue with First Counselor Allan Stombaugh officiating.
