Frank Edward Lardieri, Jr., 57 of Altoona died unexpectedly early Saturday morning July 23, 2016 at UPMC Passavant-McCandless, Pittsburgh.

            He was born January 21, 1959 in Altoona a son of the late Frank Edward, Sr. and A. Isabel (Fry) Lardieri.

            Surviving are a daughter Amanda Sue Lardieri; a granddaughter Amarysa and a grandson Dominic; step-sons David Marzucco and Jesse Bougher; all of Altoona; siblings, Carol Musselman; Gary Lardieri (Lisa); Michael Lardieri; Deborah Choros; Kathy Lardieri; Vicki McAleer (Rick Wray); and Rebecca Lardieri all of Altoona; and Theresa Shoemaker of Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.

            Frank was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Lardieri; a sister Audrey Lardieri; long-time companion Melanie K. Estright; and brother-in-law Charles Musselman.

            Mr. Lardieri was employed as a maintenance worker at various local companies.

            He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed trains, camping, fishing and anything to do outdoors.

            Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 30, 2016 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Duane Coy officiating. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.

            In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the funeral home.
