Geraldine L. (Kiser) Conrad

                Geraldine “Nanny” L. Conrad, 88 of Atloona died Tuesday April 17, 2018 at UPMC Altoona.

                She was born February 6, 1930 in Altoona a daughter of the late James and Amanda (Settle) Kiser. She married William T. Conrad in Altoona. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2008.

                Surviving are a daughter, Billie Witherow; two granddaughters, Christen Jones and husband Ben, and Julia Witherow; two great grandchildren, Reese and Alec Jones; a sister, Mary Lou Rubine; a brother, Donald “Bunny” Kiser; and a sister-in-law, Jane Kiser.

                She was preceded in death by a brother, James Kiser and a sister, Betty Weaver.

                She was a member of Second Avenue United Methodist Church.

                Nanny enjoyed bingo, casinos and playing the lottery.

                Friends will be received 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday April 19, 2018 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Sandell officiating. Internment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
