Hilda Trexler Obituary

Hilda M. Trexler, 93, died Wednesday evening September 12, 2018 at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care.

She was born September 1, 1925 in Ashville, Pa daughter of the late Homer and Amanda (Conrad) Wills. She married Robert Trexler on May 24, 1945 in Ashville and he preceded her in death on May 14, 2004.

Surviving are four daughters, Joan Burgess; Virginia (Gerry) Cole; Linda Campagna; and Sharon (Donald) Stiver; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, and two great great great grandchildren; a sister, Corine Curtis; a step-brother, Ken Wills; a step-sister, Nancy Wills.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Hilda was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and enjoyed reading and baking.

At the request of the deceased services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
