John William “Jack” Albright, Jr., 72 of Altoona died Saturday October 7, 2017 at home.

               He was born July 18, 1945 in Altoona, a son of the late John William, Sr. and Kathleen Inez (Wyatt) Albright.

               Surviving are a sister Eunice M. McCormick and husband Gary; three nephews, Everest Schott and wife Tegan, Gary McCormick, II and wife Katie, and John McCormick and wife Vanesa; six great nephews and a long time best friend, Brian Thompson.

               He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Ann Atkinson.

               Jack attended the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.

               He enjoyed cake decorating, art and drawing.

               A memorial service will take place Saturday October 14, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona with Father Ronald V. Osinski officiating.

               Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
