Marcella L. ‘Sue’ Angermeier

Sept. 26, 1937 – June 15, 2016

Marcella L. "Sue" Angermeier, 78, Altoona, died Wednesday evening at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care.

She was born in Bellemead, daughter of the late Charles and Theresa (Kneidinger) Angermeier.

Surviving are her two daughters: Susan Wertz and husband, Kevin, of Altoona and Theresa Corle of Tyrone; six grandchildren: Jennifer Broadrick and husband, Robert, Cari Glass and husband, Robert, Adam Corle and wife, Melissa, Kayla Corle, Trisha Corle and Tessa Corle; six great grandchildren; two brothers: Charles Angermeier and John Angermeier; and three sisters: Anne Mercer, Sophie Catherman and Patricia Treese.

She was preceded in death by her life-long companion, Charles Urchich, in 1993.

Marcella was a graduate of Cresson High School. She loved spending time with her family and adored her great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. funeral service Monday, June 20, 2016, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, the Rev. John Collins officiating. Committal will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.
