Sally Ann Reifsteck, 79 of Altoona died Thursday morning July 14, 2016 at UPMC Altoona.

            She was born June 8, 1937 in Altoona a daughter of the late Irwin S. and Lou Ella (Wolfinger) Garber. She married Robert Ray Reifsteck, Sr. February 22, 1957 in Altoona.

            Surviving are her husband, Robert; three children, daughter Beth P. Grafton and her husband Dirk of Indiana, PA; son Robert R. Reifsteck, Jr. and his wife Karen L. of Altoona; daughter Heidi E. Bardelang and her husband Allen “Al” of Altoona; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.        

            Sally was preceded in death by an infant half-sister Carrie; a half-sister Harriet Schultzaberger; and a sister Eleanor “Rusty” Diehl.

            Mrs. Reifsteck was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Altoona.

            She was a 1955 graduate Altoona High School.

            She enjoyed singing in the church choir; sewing; photography; and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

            Sally was a former member of the Altair Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and and following the Delphi Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

            Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.

            Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.

            In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, Memorial Fund, 200 Third Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.
