Stephen R. “Steve” Musselman, 56 of Altoona died early Sunday morning July 3, 2016 at his residence.

            He was born February 22, 1960 in Altoona a son of Virginia Erdine (Burket) Musselman and the late Frederick Henry Musselman. He married Rosemary Lahr on May 9, 2010 in Altoona.

            Surviving are his wife, Rosemary; mother Virginia E. Burket of Altoona; daughter Angela Nicole Reed (Michael) of Mechanicsburg; son Stephen Frederick “Freddy” Musselman of Altoona; grandson Aiden Joseph Reed of Mechanicsburg; baby Reed to be born soon; brother Mike Musselman (Angie); sister Cheryl Pfahler (Mike); sister Pamela Brooks; brother Samuel Musselman (Rhonda); brother Nicholas Musselman all of Altoona; brother David Musselman (Angelina) of West Virginia; step-mother Darlene Musselman of Tyrone; step-brother Vince Williams of Tyrone; step-sister Debbie Sault (Mark) of Newry; step-brother Dan Williams (Cherri) of Altoona; and sister-in-law Terry Musselman of Duncansville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

            Steve was preceded in death by a granddaughter Cadance in 2009; a sister-in-law Libby Fogal in 2009; a sister-in-law Marie Lahr in 2016; and a special friend Mary David in 2015.

            Steve was employed as a Mechanic for Reliable Towing, Tire and Auto Center.

            He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, NASCAR, and GTO’s.

            He was a member of the Pinecroft Volunteer Fire Company where he was on the Board of Trustees.

            Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday July 6, 2016 and 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 7, 2016 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday with Rev. G. Edward Corcelius officiating. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
