Bruce Allen Woodring, 70 of Altoona died early Tuesday morning May 7, 2019 at his residence.
He was born September 8, 1948 in Altoona a son of the late Jack W. and Hazel (Campbell) Woodring. He married Janet Rose Davis on October 13, 1990 in Altoona.
Surviving are his wife, Janet; five children, daughter Jamie L. Kulikowski and her husband, Adam of Richfield; daughter Nicole A. Woodring and her boyfriend, Christian; son Patrick A. Woodring all of Altoona; son David Berger of Florida; daughter Rachel Berger of Virginia; two grandchildren; and a brother, Mark E. Woodring and his wife Zinnie and their children, Melissa and Jason of San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. Woodring was a member of Second Avenue United Methodist Church, Altoona.
He was a 1968 graduate of Altoona Area High School.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during Viet Nam.
Bruce retired as a cab driver from Blue & White Taxi Service in 2014 after five years service. He was previously employed as a burner table operator at Consolidated Steel in Fallentimber.
He enjoyed wood-working and military models.
Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday May 15, 2019 at Second Avenue United Methodist Church, Altoona where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Sandell officiating.
