C. Richard “Dick” Logan, Jr., 69, died Monday afternoon September 4, 2017 at UPMC Montefiore, Pittsburgh.

            He was born May 29, 1948 in Altoona a son of the late C. Richard, Sr. and Betty Jane (Conzo) Logan. He married Sharon Ann McDowell on June 13, 1970 in Altoona.

            Surviving are his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Kimberly Dawn Rosenau and her husband Kevin of Zeeland, MI; Dana Nicole Logan and her husband Greg O’Connor of Washington, DC; three grandchildren, Kyle Becker Rosenau, Kelly Nicole Rosenau and Kory Scott Rosenau all of Zeeland, MI; twin sisters, Patricia Ann (Logan) Sohmer and her husband Joseph of Altoona; and Pamela Ann (Logan) Driftmier and her husband Keith of Port Matilda.

            Mr. Logan was a member of Jaggard First United Methodist Church, Altoona.

            He was a 1966 graduate of Altoona High School and a 1970 graduate of Gannon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Accredited Asset Management.

            Dick was employed as a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments, Altoona.

            He enjoyed golfing and fishing and was an avid sports fan. He especially enjoyed following college wrestling.

            He was a member of the Blair County Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Cambria Chamber of Commerce. He was also a member of Hiram Lodge #616, F. & A.M.; Valley of Altoona, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite bodies; Jaffa Shrine where he was a member of the Greeters; Eldorado Kiwanis; Lakemont Lions Club; and the Curve Booster Club.

            Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Thursday September 7, 2017 and 10-11 a.m. Friday September 8, 2017 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Rev. Marcus Mills and Rev. Evelyn Madison co-officiating. Interment will be made at Alto Reste Park Cemetery.
