Christina P. "Chrissy" Henninger, 44, Altoona, died Saturday morning October 7, 2017 at her residence.

She was born July 14, 1973 in Altoona, daughter of Stephen C. Lang and Mary Ann Silvis. She married Mark L. Henninger on Aug. 23, 2008, in Altoona.

Surviving are her husband, Mark; two daughters, Morgan Pensyl and Jessie Pensyl; mother, Mary Ann Silvis; father, Richard Silvis; father, Stephen Lang; mother, Vicky Lang; seven siblings: Rhonda Detwiler, Bradley McConnell, Capi Mann, Tracy Taylor, Jason Tyler, Kenneth Pace and Raymond Pace; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Chrissy was preceded in death by her father, Ken Pace; her grandparents: Raymond and Margaret Glass and Oscar and Betty Lang; and her best friends, Gary Hoover and Tiffany Riley.

She was a 1992 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a graduate of Penn State with a Bachelor of Science degree. She was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Chrissy was currently employed as a server/coordinator /waiver for the State of Pennsylvania for two years; and previously was employed as a case manager for Blair County Headstart for five years.

Chrissy was a member of the Cesare Battisti club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, riding her motorcycle, vacationing at the beach and going to casinos. She loved shopping.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday Oct. 13, 2017, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will take place Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Kathy Colebank officiating.
