Christine Dillman, 68 of Sinking Valley died early Wednesday morning October 16, 2019 at her residence.
She was born March 12, 1951 in Altoona a daughter of the late Harold Christopher and Helen Matley. She married Edward A. Dillman, Sr.
Surviving are her husband of many years Edward; two sister, Gail Sager and Delores Copeland; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Shrock; and many nieces and nephews.
Christine was preceded in death by her beloved son, Edward A. Dillman, Jr. who died June 2, 2011; and three brothers, Harry, Gary and Terry Matley.
She was a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School.
She was currently employed as a private duty nurse and had previously been employed at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. Her patients and their families loved her dearly.
Chris loved to take care of people and was best known for her long stories she would share. All who knew her loved her dearly and she will be missed sadly.
Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Thursday October 24, 2019 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona.
Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
