Clayton "Ebe" Ebersole, Jr.

            Clayton “Ebe” Ebersole, Jr., 92 of Altoona died Saturday afternoon September 14, 2019 at UPMC Altoona.

            He was born July 11, 1927 in Altoona a son of the late Clayton, Sr. and Ida Mae (Davis) Ebersole.

            Surviving are three nieces, Carol J. Whippo of Sparks, MD; Marilyn J. Whippo of Baltimore, MD; Georgia E. Fuller of Falls Church, VA; and his best friend Mark Snyder of Altoona.

            Mr. Ebersole is the last surviving member of his immediate family.

            He was a 1948 graduate of Altoona High School.

            He was employed by Mauler’s Wholesale Market.

            Clayton enjoyed playing the organ and accordion, and especially enjoyed country western music and shooting pool in a local league.

Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 21, 2019 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Duane J. Coy officiating.

Interment will be made at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.
