Cody Tyler Henderson

   Cody Tyler Henderson, 25 entered into eternal peace with the Lord Friday May 11, 2018.

    He was born January 27, 1993 in Altoona a son of the late Jeffrey Lee Henderson and Melissa Jo (Crust) Henderson-Taylor.

    Surviving are his mother, Melissa and husband Gary; a sister, Chelsea Henderson; a brother, Corey Henderson and wife Tamara; fiancée, Cierra Stiteler; three nieces, Mila, Maci, Aubryn; aunt and uncle, Molly and Mark Spinazzola and aunt and uncle Vicki and Steve Battisti and several cousins.  

    Cody was a 2011 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

    He was a roofer at Guardian Roofing and was a server at Outback Steakhouse.

    Cody loved being on a baseball field as a short stop. He enjoyed animals, camping and working out at the Building II and was also very active outside.

    Friends will be received Friday May 18, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  and Saturday May 19, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Carla Gregory-Beckton officiating.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.
