Dustin “Gubby  Zitsch,  of Altoona, died Thursday January 19, 2017 of an unknown cause at the age of 27.

               He made his grand debut on October 12, 1989, as the third born child of Arthur C. Zitsch and the late Lindy K. Wagner, of Altoona.

               Surviving are his two children; his father and step-mom Artie and Sylvia Zitsch; five siblings, Brandon, Shanna, Jessica, Kandess and Adam; grandmothers, Margaret Zitsch, and Beverly “Meemaw” Johnson; six nephews; three nieces; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

               Dustin was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Merle Reed and Harry Zitsch; his mother Linday K. Wagner; his beloved aunts Lori Keller and Wendie Miller; and three cousins.

               Gubby thoroughly enjoyed fishing and anything outdoors related. Ever since he was little, he loved taking engines and machinery apart and putting them back together. He especially loved his family and friends.

               There will be no services held, as per Dustin’s wishes. Please consider performing a random act of kindness as tribute to his life.

               The family asks for privacy at this time and during the upcoming investigation.
