George Frank Green, Jr., 81 of Altoona died Wednesday evening January 8, 2020 at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born November 30, 1938 in Altoona a son of the late George Frank, Sr. and Martha (Claybaugh) Green.

Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie L. Green (Chris Martinez) of Flowery Branch, GA and Pamela K. Miller (Bob) of Altoona; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Martha Bougher (Glenn) of Duncansville; two brothers, Mike and Jim Green; and numerous extended family.

George was preceded in death by two daughters, Donna Moore and Karen Green; and by two brothers, Bobby and Billy Green.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Mr. Green retired as a refrigeration technician/mechanic from Hubbard Thermo-King in 2015 following thirty years’ service.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service.
