Harriet M. Walz, 88 of Altoona died Sunday June 3, 2018 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born December 13, 1929 in Altoona a daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie (Walters) Marks. She married William Walz on April 11, 1949 he preceded her in death on October 3, 1998.

Surviving are five children, Thomas (Nancy) Walz, Ronald (Nancy) Walz, Susan (Jim) Holmes, Sondra (Jeff) Hoefler, and Carol (Jon) Johnson; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Marks; two sisters, Esther Diehl and June Imler.

Harriet enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards and loved shopping.

A celebration of life will take place at the convenience of the family.
