Helen C. Nash, 78 of Altoona died Thursday September 14, 2017 at Maybrook Health and Rehabilitation Center.

               She was born August 1, 1939 in Altoona a daughter of the late William and Hazel (Buchanan) Worley, Jr. She married David John Nash, Sr. on July 2, 1964 in VA. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2017.

               Surviving are two children, Leilani Baxter and husband David and Gene Worley and wife Brenda; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Alberta Michaels; two brothers, Chuck and William Worley.

               She was preceded in death by three sisters, Midge Noye, Mary Olson, and Wanda Mann; and two brothers-in-law, William Noye and Charles Michael.

               Helen enjoyed tri chem painting, and canvas yarn crafts.

               Friends will be received Monday September 18, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Marcus Mills officiating. Internment will take place at Alto Reste Park Cemetery.
