Jack E. Wilkes, Sr, 60 of Altoona died Tuesday September 26, 2017 at UPMC Altoona.

            He was born August 23, 1957 in Altoona a son of the late Jack A. and Louise M. (Frye) Sunderland.

            Surviving are four children, Christopher Wilkes, Nikki Wilkes, Jack Wilkes, Jr. and Michelle Robbins; eight grandchildren, Michael, Ashleigh, Nate, Alexander, Tapanga, Brian, Juniper, and Xander; four brothers, Terry, Larry, Richard, and William and a sister, Dianne Little.

            He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Christopher Wilkes, Jr. and Alandra.

            He attended Fairview United Methodist Church.

            He loved Nascar and enjoyed building models.

            Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday September 29, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Assembly of God, 1001 South First Street, Altoona, PA 16602, where a funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m.
