Joseph Carl "Joe" Roth, Sr.

            Joseph Carl “Joe” Roth, Sr., 44 of Altoona died Sunday morning August 11, 2019 at UPMC Altoona following a brief illness.

            He was born November 1, 1974 in Altoona a son of Bonnie Longo and the late Wayne A. Roth. He married Rhonda Jean Clark on December 19, 2002 in Altoona.

            Surviving are his wife, Rhonda; a daughter, Cameron L. Roth of Florida; a son, Joseph Carl Roth, Jr. of Altoona; a step-son, Kyle J. Blair and his wife Rebecca of Bellefonte; a granddaughter, Emma Jean Blair of Bellefonte; his mother, Bonnie Longo of Altoona; a brother, Wayne A. Roth, Jr. and his wife, Sneha of Pittsburgh; and his step-mother, Lorraine Roth of Altoona.

            Joe was preceded in death by his father.

            He was a 1992 graduate of Altoona Area High School and attended Williamsport Area Community College for a year in the construction trades.

            After a career in construction, he became self-employed as an Uber driver, a job which he dearly enjoyed.

            A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
