Joseph Paul Work, Jr.

            Joseph Paul Work, Jr., 48, of Altoona died Tuesday afternoon September 18, 2018.

He was born November 8, 1969 in Johnstown a son of the late Joseph Paul and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Nelson) Work.

            Surviving are his wife, April V. Cramer; their daughter, Trista E. Work, at home; two sisters, Mary M. Joyce and her husband, Richard of Marysville; and Pamela J. Work of Ebensburg.

            Joseph was a 1987 graduate of Central Cambria High School and a 1991 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BS degree in Business.

            He was employed since 2012 as a retail vendor for Acosta Sales.

            He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins and also Altoona Curve baseball.

            Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 22, 2018 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m.
