Lisa Belle (Werner) Slates

            Lisa Belle Slates, 65 of Roaring Spring died Saturday morning November 23, 2019 at UPMC Altoona.

            She was born May 1, 1954 in Altoona a daughter of the late Theodore J. and Grace E. (Miller) Werner. She married David C. Slates in October 1994 in Winchester, VA.

            Surviving are her husband, David; two grandsons, Kane Lutton and Asher Iachini both of Hollidaysburg; stepdaughter Brianna Iachini (Nick) of Hollidaysburg; brother Theodore J. Werner, II (Sonia) of Lockport, NY; niece Heidi Alexia Dawson (Bill) of Cary, NC; and her cat, “Willy”

            Lisa was preceded in death by two daughters, Michelle Lynne Alleman on March 2, 1984 and Allison Kay (Alleman) Lutton on June 2, 2018.

            She was a 1972 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School and a 1975 graduate of the Altoona School of Commerce.

            Lisa was formerly employed as an Administrative Assistant at Health South for 23 years.

            She enjoyed shopping, especially form QVC.

            Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday November 26, 2019 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Duane J. Coy officiating. Interment will be made at Rose Hill Cemetery, Altoona.
