Marjorie Frances (O'Donnell) Yingling

            Marjorie Frances “Margie” Yingling, 97 died Wednesday morning June 26, 2019 at The Winds at Mattern Orchard.

            She was born June 21, 1922 in Juniata a daughter of the late Francis William and Rosella Jane (Killinger) O’Donnell. She married Dee Elway Yingling on January 1, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1998.

            Surviving are two children, son Timothy J. Yingling and his wife Cathie of Altoona; daughter Beth Ann Krause and her husband Arthur of Jacksonville, NC; daughter-in-law Jeanne Yingling of Altoona; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother Dr. Richard W. “Rip” O’Donnell and his wife Doris of Maryland; and a sister-in-law Melissa Ann O’Donnell of Ohio.

            Marjorie was preceded in death by a son James Dee Yingling; a granddaughter Jennifer Yingling; a brother Dr. John R. O’Donnell; and a sister Jane E. Johnson.

            She was a 1940 graduate of Altoona High School.

            Marjorie was an avid reader.

            At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or funeral service.
