Maurey Theodore Leis

Maurey Theodore “Ted” Leis, 41 of Altoona died Wednesday November 27, 2019 at his residence.

He was born June 28, 1978 in Windber a son of Paula J. (Rosian) McDonald.

Surviving are his mother Paula J. McDonald (Terry Ray) of Altoona; a sister, Melissa M. Hartzell and her son Alexander of Florida; maternal grandmother, Martha Imler of Breezewood and maternal grandfather Mike Imler of Fishertown.

Mr. Leis attended Carson Valley Church of the Brethren.

He received an Associates Degree in Information Technology and Web Design.

Ted was currently employed as a cashier for Sportsman’s Warehouse, Altoona.

He enjoyed fishing, computers and playing Bingo.

A memorial service will be held today December 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Carson Valley Church of the Brethren with Rev. Bradley R. Runkle officiating. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
