Pamela Ann (George) Baker

            Pamela Ann Baker, 76 of Altoona died Friday evening April 26, 2019 at her residence.

            She was born March 18, 1943 in Altoona a daughter of the late James A. and Mildred A. (Rhine) George. She married Terrance Lee Baker on April 28, 1962 at Fairview United Methodist Church, Altoona.

            Surviving are her husband, Terry; three children, daughter Tammy L. Albright and her husband John of Altoona; son Brian L. Baker and his wife Christine of Hollidaysburg; son Scott A. Baker and his wife Margaret of Altoona; six grandchildren, Eric Albright, Megan Tubo and her husband Cory, Kelsey Baker, Madison Baker, Linzi Baker and Jake Baker; two brothers, James A. George, Jr. and Walter A. George and his wife Paula all of Altoona; and brothers-in-law, Terry Lee Shuke of Tipton and James M. Baker and his wife Kathy of Florida.

            Pamela was preceded in death by a sister, Christine L. Shuke.

            She was a 1961 graduate of Altoona High School.

            Mrs. Baker retired from the Altoona Area School District as a cafeteria worker in 1997 after twenty years service.

            She enjoyed reading, casino trips and camping. Pamela especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

            Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday May 1, 2019 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Allen Zeth officiating.

            Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
