Tracy Shawn Brown

            Tracy Shawn Brown, 54 of Altoona died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon September 8, 2019 at UPMC Altoona.

            He was born May 6, 1965 in Altoona a son of the late James Russell, Jr. and Marlene Joyce (Morrison) Brown.

            Surviving are a sister, P. Lynn Brown (David B. Miller) of Sinking Valley; a sister Darla Kim Himes (Timothy) of Hollidaysburg; a brother J. Russell “Rusty” Brown, III (Kim Horton) of Altoona; a brother Raymond Douglas Brown (Amanda) of Altoona; a nephew Ryan Burns; a niece Jessica Shelton; a nephew Nick Horton; a nephew Kyle Brown; a niece Amber Himes and a niece Courtney Himes.

            He was preceded in death by his partner, Mark Russell Brown, Jr.

            He was a 1983 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

            Shawn was employed as a merchandise specialist for Sam’s Club.

            He enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers and writing poetry.

            Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday September 17, 2019 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona, PA.
