Betty L. Kenner

            Betty Louise Kenner, 100, died early Thursday morning June 2, 2022, at Graystone Manor, Bellemead, surrounded by her loving family.

            She was born November 1, 1921, in Altoona a daughter of the late Herbert and Vera Theresa (Ott) Burk. She married Malcolm Eugene Kenner on December 26, 1941, in Cumberland, MD. He preceded her in death September 20, 1990.

            Surviving are three children, daughter Sandra Lea Pritts (David) of Homers Gap, daughter Debra L. Muri (Greg) of Altoona, and son Brian C. Kenner (Nancy) of Pittsburgh; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and fourteen great great grandchildren.

            Betty was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Eugene Kenner.

            Mrs. Kenner was a life member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Altoona.

            She was a 1939 graduate of Altoona High School.

            Betty was formerly employed by A&P Markets in the bakery department, and she then retired from Veeder-Root. 

            A graveside funeral service for Betty will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 4, 2022, at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood with Rev. Drew McCaffery officiating. Interment will follow.
