It is with great sadness that the family of Carmen Julia Molina announces her sudden passing on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, at the age of 46.
Carmen was born in Newark, N.J., and graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1994. She later returned to school for cooking. She became a chef and worked at restaurants in the Altoona and Pittsburgh areas.
Carmen enjoyed time with family, her daughter and grandkids. She also enjoyed time with friends, listening to music, dancing, cooking and football.
She has now joined her sweet mother, Luz Torres, and her sister, Maria Angie Molina, in heaven.
Carmen will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Melissa Molina; a son-in-law, Tyreese Pearson; three grandchildren: Mailiha Pearson, Ameerah Pearson and Ezekiel Molina; brother, San Valentin Rivera; and sister, Valeria Rivera Ramirez.
Carmen was loved by many and will never be forgotten.
A celebration of life service will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona.
