Carolyn Clare Snow

     Carolyn Clare Snow, age 87, of Altoona, PA passed away November 4th in her home surrounded by loved ones.

     She is survived by her three daughters and their families, including seven grandchildren who were the light of her life.

     Carolyn was born and raised in Altoona, PA. She lead a robust life working for 17 years as the Activities Director at Garvey Manor Nursing Home. She taught piano lessons, was the choir director and pianist at church, volunteered for the Contact Crisis phone hotline, and spent time as President of both the Altoona Women's Club and the Pennsylvania Activities Professional Association for many years. Carolyn also enjoyed sitting on the board for the Altoona Symphony League.

     She will be forever loved and remembered.

     A memorial service will be held at Wehnwood Church on Saturday, November 18th at 2 p.m. 

     In lieu of flowers, donatioins may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society or Susquehanna University, her alma mater.
