Cathy Ann (Pasekoff) Westley

            Cathy Ann Westley, 73 of Altoona died Thursday morning November 12, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

            She was born March 11, 1947 in Altoona the daughter of Harold and Ruth (Stom) Pasekoff. She married John L. Westley in February 1966. He preceded her in death in June of 2005.

            Surviving are two sons, David J. Westley of Duncansville and Christopher M. Westley of Altoona; and three grandchildren, Audrey, Rachel and Benjamin Westley of Hollidaysburg.

            Mrs. Westley attended Ward Avenue Presbyterian Church, Altoona.

            She was a 1965 graduate of Altoona High School.

            Cathy retired as a receptionist from U.S. Foods in 2001 following fifteen years’ service.

            She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid animal lover of all kinds, especially cats. Cathy enjoyed bird-watching and taking, with John, autumn leaves sightseeing trips to New England and North Carolina. She greatly enjoyed hosting her family for meals and get-togethers and loved to decorate her home for each holiday and season. She was a staunch Democrat and loved to debate her Republican friends over politics.

            At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or funeral service.
