Danielle Michaelle Wetzel

            Danielle Michaelle Wetzel, 17 of Altoona died unexpectedly Friday morning November 11, 2022, at her residence.

            She was born November 3, 2005, in Altoona a daughter of Kelli L. Irvin.

            Surviving are her mother, with whom she resided; grandmother, Kathy Crownover of Altoona; grandfather, David Crownover, Sr. of Huntingdon; great grandmother, Shirley McFadden of Altoona; uncle, David Crownover, Jr. of Altoona; great uncle, Robert McFadden, Jr. of Bellefonte; and numerous extended family members.

            Danielle was preceded in death by great grandparents: Robert McFadden, Sr., Grace Jamison, and Samuel Crownover; and “Pappy”, William Kuny.

            She was a member of Canan Station Mennonite Church.

            Danielle was junior year student attending the Altoona Area High School.

            She loved spending time with her family and friends, and her pet rabbit, “Bella”. She enjoyed being on the Sparkle Cheerleading team, gymnastics, animals, and her stuffed bears “her children”, Lula and Rosie.

            Danielle was an honors student and was a member of the General Interest Club.

            To honor Danielle, the family requests you please wear purple to the visitation as it was her favorite color.

            Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday November 18, 2022, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jack Styer, officiating.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family, in care of the funeral home, would be appreciated.
