David German Obituary
David G. “Buddy” German, 39, of Altoona, died Tuesday afternoon at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son Gary and the late Pamela Louise (Hancock) German.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Gary and Janet German, of Altoona; two sisters: Marsha K. Cox of Richmond, Va., and Wendy L. Banas and her husband, Charles “Chip,” of Duncansville; a niece, Elexis Steiner; two nephews: Cameron Cox and Carter Cox; and the love of his life, Amy Senner.
Dave was a 1999 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and a graduate of the Physical Therapy program at Mount Aloysius College.
He was most recently employed as a physical therapist assistant at the James E. VanZandt VAMC with twelve years’ service.
Dave enjoyed target shooting and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
Friends will be received from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
