Donette C. (Wilson) Lunghofer

            Donette C. Lunghofer, 72 of Altoona went home to be with the Lord Friday morning July 17, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

            She was born November 1, 1947 in Altoona a daughter of the late Donald E. and Betty J. (Steckroth) Wilson. She married Ronald R. Lunghofer on September 29, 1985 at the former 58th Street United Methodist Church, Altoona.

            Surviving are her husband, Ronald; four children, daughter Tiffaney K. Hale (Christopher G.) and daughter Rhonda A. Socie (Steven) all of Hollidaysburg; daughter Ruth A. Puhatch (Matt) of Altoona; daughter Erin B. Aiken (Joe) of Windsor, VA; five grandchildren, Corbin Molinets, Teagan Molinets, Izabelle Aiken, Cassidy Aiken and Nicole Socie; a great grandson, Braxton Molinets; and a sister, Sharon L. Dittsworth (Dave) of Altoona.

            Donette had a special bond and place in her heart for a close family friend, Lori Remis.

            Mrs. Lunghofer was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Altoona where she was active in Missions Outreach.

            She was a 1965 graduate of Altoona High School.

            Donette retired as the secretary/treasurer of Neon by Lunghofer, Inc. in 2010 following thirty years’ service.

            She enjoyed her dog, Lovely Little Lilly, camping and reading.

            Donette was strong in her faith and loved the Lord.

            Friends will be received from 1-4 p.m. Thursday July 23, 2020 at Faith Baptist Church, 315 – 40th Street, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary G. Dull officiating.

            Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
