Edna May Morgan, 84 of Altoona died early Monday afternoon December 30, 2019 at UPMC Altoona.
She was born December 25, 1935 in Altoona a daughter of the late Charles Luther and Edna May (Spahn) Hiltner. She married Jack Merrill Morgan on August 31, 1956 in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death August 10, 2018.
Surviving are six children, daughter Susan Morgan of Roaring Spring; daughter Jacqueline Traver (Dan Teeters) of Tyrone; son Jeffrey Morgan (Dawn) of Altoona; daughter Lisa Morgan of Altoona; son Jesse Morgan (Paula Harris) of Greenwood; son Jason Morgan of Altoona; five grandchildren, Beth Ann, Angela, Gretchen, Nathan and Kiersten; four great grandchildren, John, Lane, Emmalyn and Levi; and six sisters, Shirley Iorio, Barbara Noon, Carol Howard, Bonnie Henninger and Virginia Marks.
Edna was preceded in death by a brother, Charles L. Hiltner.
She was a 1953 graduate of Altoona High School.
Edna enjoyed reading, crafts, puzzles and watching TV.
Friends will be received from 1-4 p.m. Thursday January 2, 2020 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Hamer officiating.
Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
