Elizabeth (Betty) Marie Orr

            Elizabeth (Betty) M. Orr, 101 passed away Wednesday October 19, 2022, at Guardian Healthcare-Altoona.

            She was born May 25, 1921, in Altoona a daughter of the late Holden and Mabel (Utz) Eckenrode. She married loving husband Robert E. Orr in Altoona. He preceded her in death in 1985.

            She was the loving mother of two surviving sons, Gary Orr, and Robert Orr (Lynne) both of Altoona; survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

            Betty was the last member of her immediate family.

            She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and a granddaughter.

            Mrs. Orr was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Altoona.

            Betty loved her family, animals, and working in her flower garden.

            Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 22, 2022, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Nelson Javier officiating.
