Eve C. (Peckowych) Poeschl

Eve C. Poeschl, 92, Altoona, died Friday, May 21, 2021, at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.

She was born on February 16, 1929, in Pinecroft, the daughter of the late Ilko and Kathryn (Brandza) Peckowych.

Surviving are two children: son, Robert W. Closson of Hollidaysburg and daughter, LuAnn L. Closson of Altoona; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Shomposki of Bridgeton, N.J.

She was preceded in death by five brothers: Harry, John, Charles, Michael and Nick; and four sisters: Ann, Mary, Catherine and Nellie.

Mrs. Poeschl was a 1948 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. She worked at Sylvania and retired as a clerk from Kopp Drug. Eve enjoyed doing puzzle books.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no services.
