George Edward "Wolf" Peznola, II

            George Edward “Wolf” Peznola, II, 55 of Altoona died late Sunday morning August 27, 2023, at his residence.

            He was born May 9, 1968, in Bostin, MA a son of the late George Edward, Sr. and Lucy Agetha (Porreca) Peznola. He married Jennifer Lynn George on May 12, 2001.

            Surviving are his wife, Jennifer; a daughter, Miranda D. Peznola of Altoona; a sister, Allessandra Dabliz of Yarmouth, MA; a niece, Hunter Kendrick and a nephew, James DeFilippis both of Massachusetts; and his mother-in-law, Sharon Spicer of Altoona.

            He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elsa D'orazio, of Bisegna, Italy.

            Wolf was employed by many local restaurants as a cook and delivery driver.         

            He was the best Dad in the world. He enjoyed sitting in his recliner and watching the news, especially Fox, with his dog “Kipper”. He also enjoyed collecting comic books and DVD movies. George was an avid reader and a fan of Robert B. Parker’s works. He enjoyed attending Rennaisance Fairs and was an ardent animal rights activist.

            Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday August 30, 2023, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc. where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

            In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations please be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
