Gregg E. Boggs

            Gregg E. Boggs, 60 of Greenwood, Altoona died unexpectedly early Wednesday January 13, 2021 at his residence.

            He was born January 6, 1961 in Altoona a son of the late Stanley Eugene and Phyllis Jane (Snyder) Boggs.

            Surviving are two sisters, Barbara C. Vaughn of Berlin, MD and Diane Y. Croft (Kenneth) of Altoona; a nephew, Robert Simington (Tammy) of Ocean City, MD; a niece, Kristy Weyant (Grant) of New Paris; numerous extended family members; and his Golden Retriever, “Elliott”.

            Gregg was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey M. Boggs and a niece, Debra Bond.

            Mr. Boggs was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church, Altoona.

            He was a 1979 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

            Gregg retired as a sales representative from Holsum/Butter-Krust Baking Company after many years’ service.

            He enjoyed all types of sports, especially Kansas City Chiefs football.

            There will be no viewing. A memorial service is planned to be held at a future date.

            Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
