Heather Marie (Shoop) Sollenberger

            Heather Marie Sollenberger, 45 of Altoona died late Friday evening December 7, 2018 at UPMC Altoona.

            She was born January 31, 1973 in Altoona a daughter of the late Clyde E. Shoop and Sandra J. (Mallery) Bovard.

            She married Melvin “Butch” Sollenberger in Winchester, VA.

            Surviving are her husband; her mother Sandra J. Bovard and her husband, Bruce of Altoona; a sister Elizabeth A. Salomie and her husband, Joe of Altoona; a brother Scott A. Shoop of Lancaster; a sister Tracy L. Shoop of Altoona; and nieces and nephews, Michael Mulraney, Brandon Ford, Hunter Shoop, Madison Pincin and Morgan Lafferty and numerous extended family members.

            Mrs. Sollenberger was a member of Fourth Street Church of God, Altoona.

            She enjoyed latch-hook and plastic canvas embroidery.

            Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday December 12, 2018 and 10-11 a.m. Thursday December 13, 2018 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Matthew Hornberger officiating. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
