John A. Miller

     John A. Miller, 86, of Ducansville, died October 23, 2021 at Cambridge Place, Ebensburg.

     He was born July 25, 1935 in Altoona, a son of the late John D. and Frances L. (Carolus) Miller.

    Surviving are a son: Mark J. (Michele) Miller, of Hollidaysburg; two grandchildren: Mathew (Caitlin) Miller of Duncansville and Melissa Miller (Justin Isenberg) of Hollidaysburg; two great-grandchildren: Miles and Myla; and numerous extended family members.

      He was preceded in death by 6 siblings.

     John was a 1953 graduate of Altoona High School and then enlisted into the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict.

      He retired as a clerk for the United States Postal Service after nearly 30 years of service.

      John enjoyed fishing, dancing, and spending time with family.

      He was a lifetime member of the Juniata VFW “Fort Apache” and a member of Newburg Fire Company.
