Obituary
John Arthur Walters, 74, of Altoona, died Saturday November 13, 2021, at UPMC Altoona.
He was born April 9, 1947, in Philadelphia, a son of the late John W. and Carol (Lancaster) Walters.
John is survived by a son: John Allen Walters; a granddaughter: Paisley; significant other: Regina N. Helsel; and special friend: Robin J. Campbell.
He was raised in Philadelphia, PA from where he graduated high school. John went on to serve in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
John retired as a contractor specializing in interior finishes.
He enjoyed collecting rare coins and stamps, building model cars and trucks, drawing, and painting. John especially loved spending time with his son, John Allen.
