Joyce R. Harter

            Joyce R. “Joycie” Harter, 89 of Altoona died Thursday afternoon March 14, 2024, at UPMC Altoona.

            She was born January 1, 1935, in Altoona, a daughter of the late John William and Ruth Margaret (Smith) Harter.

            Joyce was a graduate of Altoona High School.

            She was beloved member of the Skills of Central Pennsylvania family.

            She enjoyed listening to music, especially the “oldies”.

            Joyce enjoyed the fellowship of her housemates.

            She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

            Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 20, 2024, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be made at Meyer Cemetery, Bellefonte.
