Judith Ann "Judy" (Pry) Rhine

            Judith Ann “Judy” Rhine, 80 of Altoona died Saturday afternoon November 28, 2020 at UPMC Altoona following a brief illness.

            She was born September 16, 1940 in Altoona a daughter of the late Cyrus Harold and Edith Blanch (Rutherford) Pry. She married John Howard Rhine on September 24, 1960 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Altoona. He preceded her in death February 22, 2019.

            Surviving are five children, daughter Terri A. McGilvray; daughter Penny J. Miller and her husband James; son Kevin Rhine; daughter Wendy S. Corle and her husband Gary; son Scott A. Rhine all of Altoona; sixteen grandchildren, Joshua Albright, Jessica Delancey, Christopher Blyler, Alan Rhine, Ashley Miller, Tucker McGilvray, Jenna Faulkner, Adam Corle, Dylan McGilvray, Zach Folcarelli, Justus Miller, Josh Miller, Kevin Miller, Devin Miller, Jeremy Rhine and Jordan Miller; nine great grandchildren, Gavin Albright, Emma Delancey, Gracie Albright, Makenzie Blyler, Ava Delancey, Kassidy Blyler, Peyton Faulkner and Kaden Blyler; brother, James Pry (Kathy) of Louisiana; sister, Edie Frederick (John) of Altoona; and many nieces and nephews.

            Judy was preceded in death by a brother, “Butch” Pry.

            She was a 1958 graduate of Altoona High School.

            Judy was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed sitting on her porch and talking with her neighbors. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and spending time at the family cottage at Newton-Hamilton.

            A private viewing and funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.

            Interment will be made at Alto Rest Park Cemetery.

            In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
