Larry Thomas Feathers, Sr.

            Larry Thomas Feathers, Sr., of Altoona died Tuesday afternoon September 17, 2019 at his residence.

            He was born December 23, 1944 in Claysburg a son of the late Charles Benjamin and Anna Mary (Fleck) Feathers.

            Surviving are his companion Susan May Bollman; three children, son Larry Thomas Feathers, Jr. of Williamsburg; son Larry Benjamin Feathers of New York; daughter Ginger Sue Shoeman of Altoona; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother Louis Robert Feathers of Juniata; and his former wife Doris Brantner Strayer.

            Larry was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Kay Charles; and siblings, Roy Feathers; Gerald Feathers; twins Amos and Andy Feathers; Sylvia Louise Tenley; Marie Sirlouis and Harold Feathers.

            Mr. Feathers retired in 1977 as a self-employed woodsman and huckster.

            A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday September 28, 2019 at Altoona Full Gospel Church, 120 Roswell Street, Altoona.
