Linda Ray DeRensis, 77, Altoona, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 30, 2021, at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona.
She was a daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Krape) Fowkes. She married Julio Ceasar DeRensis on Oct. 27, 1970, in Duncansville.
Surviving is her son, Bill Kelly and his wife, Jerri, of Texas; a grandson, Phillip Kelly, of Texas; a sister, Diane Ott and her husband, Pat, of Duncansville; a sister-in-law, Olga Gonter and her husband, George, of Hollidaysburg; many nieces and nephews; and very close neighbors.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Julio DeRensis; a nephew, Larry Ott; a brother-in-law, Louis DeRensis and his wife, Gina; and a sister-in-law, Rose Rupp and her husband, Dave.
Mrs. DeRensis was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.
She was a member of the Altoona Full Gospel Church, Altoona.
Linda retired from Cracker Barrel in May 2006.
She enjoyed watching trains, football, working on puzzles/crossword puzzles, sitting on the front porch, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Family and friends will be received from 9 to11 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2021, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Ron Campbell officiating. Entombment will be made at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
