Linda K. Lykens, 70 of Altoona died early Monday morning April 3, 2023, at UPMC Altoona.
She was born February 7, 1953, in Altoona a daughter of the late Donat and Sarah K. (Black) Bott. She married Victor R. Lykens on May 24, 2014, in Altoona.
Surviving are her husband, Victor; five children, daughter Vickie L. Pruitt of Oklahoma, son William D. Royer of Altoona, daughter Sandra L. Royer of Altoona, son Harry J. Royer (Heather) of Altoona, and son Kenneth R. Royer (Michelle) of South Carolina; three step children, David A. Lykens, Vicky K. Lykens, and Jamie L. Lykens; twenty-seven grandchildren, Anthony Emanuelson, Sarah Bond, Tylar Cheater, Sahrina Pruitt, Taylor Yon, Cassidy Royer, Taylor White, Sydney Royer, Sheldon Neighoff, Kirstin Neighoff, Amber Yesis, Matthew Royer, Caleb Royer, Raven Andersen, Alicia McCulley, Courtney McCulley, Haydn Royer, Sienna Royer, Wisteria Royer, Ophelia Royer, Wyatt Royer, Angel Lykens, Crystal Lykens, Brandon Lykens, Carrie Lykens, Victor Lykens, Robert Lykens, Jr.; twenty-two great grandchildren, Nikoll, Anastasia, Paydon, Thomas, Kanton, Annalee, Asher, Landon, Brady, Dax, Brooklynn, Jeannette, Jaden, Mason, Delilah, Max, Colton, Ocean, Brandon, Jr., Alexis, Skylar, and TT; four siblings, brother Russell Bott (Grace) of Texas, sister Mary Davis of Juniata, Altoona, sister Anna Mitchell of Bellwood, and brother Cary Bott of Altoona; and numerous extended family members.
Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald, and Herman Bott, and her first husband, Leo F. Royer on January 1, 1996 and a step son, Robert L. Lykens.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2023, and 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 10, 2023, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday with Pastor Bill Pepper officiating. Interment will be made at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
