Monica L. Harf

            Monica L. Harf, 25 of Altoona died unexpectedly early Sunday morning January 8, 2023, in Somerset.

            She was born July 5, 1997, in Altoona a daughter of Kristal M. Masic and William S. Harf.

            Surviving are a daughter Jayda K. Thomas at home; her mother Kristal M. Masic (Jim Stampley), and her father William S. Harf (Mary Hughes) all of Altoona; grandparents, Dawn and Sean O’Connor, Debbie and Rich Elliott, and Paul Masic all of Altoona; great grandparents, Cyril and Maryellen O’Connor of Altoona; sisters, Angelina Mowery and Nevaeh Harf, and brother, William S. Harf, Jr. all of Altoona; and numerous extended family members.

            Monica was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal great grandparents.

            She was a 2015 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

            She was formerly employed as a cashier in the retail food service industry.

            Monica enjoyed gaming, shopping, taking road trips, and, most especially, spending time with her daughter, family, and friends.

            Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. Friday January 13, 2023, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Drew McCaffery officiating.
